- Alex Cox is an occasional writer, technologist, photographer, and full time student of life residing in Charlotte, NC. Raised in a small town in Virginia, Alex graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1999, and spent his twenties working as a park ranger, pharmacy technician, houseparent, police officer, claims adjuster, and security operations manager. In mid-2002, Alex bought his first personal computer, and began a path that has brought him from small town police officer to technical support for the best computer company in the world.
